Business Challenge

Alto was asked to customize the Home page and a sub-site for the Neuromodulation Sales Training department at Medtronic.

Design Planning

Alto Consulting worked alongside the client to arrive at a design plan and layout for the Home page and sub-site pages. Details such as image to be used, fonts, colors, and placement of web parts including Search were defined. The placements as well as look and feel of the top and side navigation bars were defined.

Implementation

Alto created custom Master and sub-site templates to implement the look and feel that was decided in the Design Planning phase.  The Home page and sub-site pages were created using the custom master and sub-site templates. Search for the site was added in a new location.

Training

Alto created a document which allowed the client to create a new sub-site with the same look and feel in the future without the need to call Alto for help.
